Amira Rabbah is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Biomolecular Science. She started volunteering with the RHL Foundation in the summer of 2023. She is currently pursuing a career in medicine and has a strong interest in metabolic health research.

Kian Kashayar is a student at the University of California Berkeley. As an Iranian-American, he is especially interested in how rice affects metabolic health and any potentially healthier alternatives. Kian’s research helped to clarify the values of diabetic (high amylose) rice.
